Windows Live WiFi is no more
March 2nd, 2007
Thank you for participating in the WiFi Center Beta program. Due to changing priorities we have decided not to release Beta 5 and will be closing down the WiFi Center Beta on March 15, 2007. Your comments, bugs, and suggestions have provided invaluable feedback and helped us improve the quality of our product.
So basically the Windows Live WiFi Center product has gone and will not be returning. Another one of Steve Berkowitz’s decisions to turn the Windows Live Hotspot Locator into an MSN product has prevailed, which to be honest is another stupid idea. There will be no Windows Live WiFi Center Beta 5, but all of the comments and bugs etc. are basically useless going into something else no doubt ![]()
Thanks for your hard work people… wasted time. Check out the Hotspot Locator here.

They are trying to get many products back to MSN, as the ‘LIVE’ brand is not catching on. Like I still call it MSN Messenger! Don’t you? They should stick with one thing. all the changing of brands, url’s just confuses people more and is also bad for people who depend on these services.
