Windows Live™ for TV Beta is a rich, graphically-driven interface designed for people who use Windows Live Spaces and Messenger and Live Call on large-screen monitors and TVs. Microsoft is still in the early stages of this beta, and access to this beta is very limited. It works only in Windows Vista Ultimate and Home Premium, so users with these operating systems are ready to go already!

You can be part of this beta! We have only 2 invites (small number, but more coming soon) and if you want to be in with a chance of getting in on this amazing beta, take part in our rather unconventional contest!

How this works
Technology has got me into trouble before. I was at a party, this weird girl gave me her number so I typed it in and put as the name (without her seeing me) “Hayley - weird”. I went to the same club a few weeks later, the same girl saw me and asked why I hadn’t called her. I told her I didn’t have her number - she persued this and took my phone, and entered in her number again. When she went to save it, it said “Do you want to replace ‘Hayley - weird’?” That got me into hot water with a few of her friends. So… the question is:

“How has technology got you into trouble?”

The two best comments will get the beta invites - leave your name and email address and your comment so we can get back to you.

I’ve already using the beta, but I’m more interested in your story about that girl. Did you like this girl? Why’d you put her number in? Why did you add her as weird? Why didn’t you call her? Did you forget her number or something? It’s just kind of interesting, that I want to know more of the details. I like the Live beta so far. Although they could tweak it a little more. Good luck with the invites.

BTW - you could download from Beau, however you need a Windows Live ID with beta acknowledgement to get anywhere. Having the software is one thing, but having a beta enabled Live ID is the most important.

    This competition guarantees that :-)

OK, so this girl an I were going out, you know, blah blah blah. So I was at a friends house, and there was this other girl there that was pretty good looking, and she took my phone and said “hey, lets take a picture!” And, you know, I didn’t object. Later that night all of us went to a party and got a little sloshed. Needless to say, I completely forgot to remove that picture the next morning, and a few hours later my girlfriend opened up my phone to another girls face!! THAT was an interesting explanation…

I am a frequent listener of podcasts. My means of listening are through my Cingular 8125, because they come with a dual head set and usually the audio produced by the podcasters sucks (most of the times). Anyway, while entertaining myself I tend to ignore other, but I acknowledge them by nodding or smiling at them, and proceed to move right along. Well the other the day my grandmother went out with the girls for brunch as she likes to call it. She asked of me to get a couple of thing clean up in the kitchen before she returned. Well I did my usual nod and smile. The result, my grandmother a little embarrassed by the mess she returned too. Now I just play them on my computer unless I am alone.
Ps it great to answer phone calls with speaking to people in stereo

Yeah, well I was listening to my DVD player with earmuffs in my car. We were driving past an army zone area, and all of a sudden, I could hear a conversation between two people. Funnily enough, my earmuffs can pick up any radio wave, whether it comes from my mobile phone (cellphone as Americans would say), or a UHF radio as the Army area was using. Now, I don’t know if anyone gets faulty dvd sound system earmuffs, but where we bought our dvd system, there was some dodgy people, so I didn’t know what to expect.

I like everything positive. I’m on this website since the first day of its existence and I have never seen anything negative on it. This website is made by people, who think positive and who have many things to tell others. I love this website, I always get positive emotions from it and I can stay here the whole days and nights!
