Why, where, how and what?

January 2nd, 2007

It’s nice of you to have dropped by - really, we both thank you. There’s just some things we wish to highlight whilst you read around the blog entries - we’re not like ordinary blogs. Here’s how it is:

  • You don’t know us. Or do you? That’s the question really. We won’t ever tell you who we are; you can guess, you can proclaim, you can wish, or you can hope, but we’ll never identify ourselves. It’s very much like “I have a secret but I’m not going to tell you”.
  • We’re not biased. We take everyone as fairly as we can - Microsoft may not have the best search engine, but it may have the better social network than MySpace - also Intel may make great chips but AMD are cheaper - we’re very fair and we’ll never sway towards one market.
  • We’ve both worked at Microsoft. It’s true, we’ve both worked with Microsoft on a number of different things, but have both since gone our seperate ways to some degree from the software giant - doesn’t mean we don’t pop in and say hello to them once in a while, we met some great people.
  • We have an MVP here. It might be me, it might be the other person, who knows.
  • We’ll be brutally honest. Even if it means shedding a few tears in the process, and it might mean upsetting some people (like Microsoft or Google) but sometime’s we will have to do it. However we love pretty much everyone anyway, so we’ll try to be honest but nice.
  • We have no boundaries. We’ll talk about anything and everything technological. We’ll step carefully around what is heard but not spoken, and will see that you have your daily dosage of techno-jargon.
  • If you’re mentioned on the right - you’re important. Everyone in life has a meaning and everyone in our little link exchange to the right is important to us. To make it clear, we’ve linked to them because they don’t realise how special they actually are… there’ll be a time and a place where each one of those guys and girls come in handy.
  • Whatever you say, we’ll let it. All comments we get will be moderated to a level, of which as long as they’re not spam and obey’s the law then it’s OK. You can say anything you want about anyone or anything because freedom of speech is important - just be gentle to one another though.

That’s about it really - over time this’ll be updated as we evolve from the crawly catterpillar to a beautiful sun radiated butterfly, but we’ll need your support for that. By support - keep reading, we’ve got some shockers, some truths, but some brilliant articles coming your way.
